One Latter-Day Saint's View: New First Presidency

About Me

Since the purpose of this blog is to publish my views and feelings about my religion, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons), I think it's fitting for me to give my "credentials" on the matter.

I'm a life-long, fully-active member of the Church. I attended four years of Seminary in High School, five years at Brigham Young University, and spent two years on a full-time proselytizing mission in Southern France.

I'm an Elder and have served as Elders' Quorum President, Young Men's President, Ward Mission Leader, Ward Financial Clerk, Ward Sunday School President, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Elders' Quorum Instructor, and Ward Missionary.

While I'm an engineer by profession I love to study about the gospel. I believe I'm just about as well informed on the teachings of the Church as any other lay member.

New First Presidency

Now that the First Presidency has been reorganized, I want to send my best regards to President Monson, President Eyring, and President Uchtdorf. They'll wholeheartedly get my sustaining vote this coming Conference, not to mention my family's prayers in their behalf. I'm absolutely confident the affairs of the Church are in good hands.

As a side note, I've updated the Apostle Info in the side bar to reflect these recent changes. Once the new apostle is called, I'll add his information as soon as I get it.
